This injury was to have occurred while this contract labor was loading bolter with bolting supplies and he contacted a metal roof strap that was bent down, cutting ear. Cause of injury was not paying attention to his surroundings. Compliance with rules/regs not a factor, mining equip/systems, or PPE a factor and job skills and miner proficiency may be a factor.
