## Narrative

Injured employee was in the process of installing cutting edges on a D11R dozer, while lifting the cutting edge with a 6ft. nylon strap rated for 1,550 lbs, the strap broke causing the cutting edge to fall on the employees right foot. He was transported to the ER and diagnosed with multiple foot fractures and required surgery the following day. He has been excused from work.
