Injury occurred while this contractor was installing a top center belt roller on a belt line. While leaning over belt bed rail to install roller he felt a pop in left rib area. Cause of injury was improper position and overexertion. PPE was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was not a factor, mining equip/systems was not a factor, miner proficiency and skill may be factor.
