An ignition occurred on MMU 001 section at approx. 7:28am, 200' in by spad #1631 in the #1 entry. There were no injuries involved. Miner operator said he saw a flash on the left barrel while he was cutting sandstone bottom in the entry. The cut of coal had already been mined before he started to cut the bottom.
