## Narrative

Employee attempting to align a drill steel to the other, he hit the wrong lever on the bolter (tilt lever) and pinched his finger between the two drill steels. Cause of this incident was the inattention of this employee and having the drill steel in the drill pod to align. Compliance with rules/regs protective equip./not a factor, mining equip and miner proficiency a factor.
