## Narrative

As Alpine miner was cutting coal he was installing channel & after tightening bolt on channel a piece of rock apprx 20"" wide X 42"" long x 5""-10"" thick fell from roof & struck him on the back. He was pushed into metal box that protects drill levers & cut him above lt eye & fractured his nose. 52 sutures were required to close the lacerations (2 cuts).
