## Narrative

While injured employee (IE) pushed a handle on a diverter at the head of a quarry conveyor he felt a very sharp pain in his left calf muscle. IE was transported to the occ. health clinic by his safety mgr and was treated for a strain/sprain/fracture. Follow-up visit diagnosed IE with a strain/partial muscle tendon tear. IE then sought treatment by his PCP and is awaiting a MRI.
