## Narrative

Miner was cutting a 2"" piece of rubber hose with a retractable razor knife.  Upon completion of the cut, the knife, held in his right hand, slipped and stabbed him in the back of his left hand.  There was a puncture wound about 1/2"" in length and considerable swelling under the skin.
