Employee stepping off crew missed step and slipped down steps. Employee stated he was ok and worked for 2 more days went on days off, while on days off went to the doctor without notifying safety or HR and was taken off work by the doctor, employee notified HR on 01/27/2013 of being off work. Notification is now made to MSHA
