Narrative

Contractor employee received a laceration to the left thumb when it was caught between the flange of a steel duct and a flatbed trailer during the off loading process. A forklift was used to offload the duct and the duct had slid off of the tip of the forks while employee had his hand on the load. Employee received sutures to close the wound.
