## Narrative

Employee took off gloves to tie a knot & received a fiberglass sliver into left thumb. Employee pulled it out. Went to medic on site at end of shift to report this. Late that night at home, his thumb was still bothering him & went to ER in the early am hours - a piece of sliver was still in thumb. Doctor removed it. Sutures required. No days lost. Full release issued.
