## Narrative

Brush fire (smoke) was discovered in a remote area on the south side of the Carmi pit pumping area.  It began as just smoke/smoldering eventually small flames were present.  Fire area was ~1/2 acre.  Internal fire bridgade, local fire service and DNR responded.  No personal or equipment were injured or damaged as a result of the fire.
