## Narrative

The helper on DL-1 was attempting to move a 4 inch x 10 foot HQ. The rod stuck on the deck then kicked free striking the helper on the inside of his right foot.   The helper was taken to the PA on the mine site. The PA recommended x-rays. X-rays did not find a fracture and the helper was put on restricted duties until the bruise has healed. Re-evaluation on June 1.
