## Narrative

The employee was removing the wear package on a CAT 994 Loader bucket. The employee was attempting to loosen a lip protector striking it with a mild steel dead blow hammer. A small fragment of metal from the edge of the lip protector stuck the employee in the back of his left lower thigh. The employee was placed on light duty to assist healing.
