## Narrative

Employee was bench testing a reactor 'G' valve to find out if it had proper clearances around the seating area. He was using a sheet of paper held over the valve seat while the valve plunger was open. When the valve was closed to test the seat, it caught his left index finger causing a laceration and fracture at the tip of the finger.
