## Narrative

IE was operating the continuous miner, when he was struck by a foreign object that went into his upper arm (triceps). He was administered first aid and then it was determined that an object was embedded in his arm. He was transported to the ER. He had surgery on the morning of 8/15/13 to remove a piece of metal. He was taken off work by the surgeon until his next Dr's visit.
