Injured was replacing headgate shield leg, the bottom stage fitting was cracked causing the plug to blow out grazing the top right upper leg and causing a laceration. PPE was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was not factor, mining equipment/system was not a factor, proficiency and knowledge was a factor.
