Injured miner was in the process of moving power on the unit. When he removed the tie wire holding up the continuous miner cable, a rock that was apparently lying on the cable fell and hit him on the head and left shoulder. After x-rays and cat scans were taken and read the following day, a fracture was found on the right lumbar 5th transverse process.
