Narrative

Shovel hit slate bar as it started to fall toward belt employee tried to catch it so it would not go into moving belt. During this attempt left hand went through top roller. This resulted in multiple lacerations to thumb,ring finger,middle finger on left hand. 5 sutures thumb,2 sutures ring finger and 16 sutures middle finger.
