Narrative

A haul truck operator went to the parking ditch where he found the hydraulic ladder up on the truck he was assigned at the beginning of shift. When he attempted to lower the ladder from a position on the ground, his left ring finger suffered an avulsion/fracture as it was pinched between the ladder/handrail and the release peddle.
