Employee was using a knife to slice air hose lengthwise. Rather than laying hose on a bench to slice it, he held it in his left hand; the utility knife cut his palm. The wound was cleaned and dressed, & employee received several stitches at the base of his thumb. Returned to work-no restrictions.
