## Narrative

Maintenance Mechanic was changing out the blade of a valve for the Decapus.  The employee released an air actuated valve cylinder.  Employee held a plate in position under the cylinder and when the pressure released, it pinched his second finger on his left hand.  The finger tip required ten (10) sub dermal and surface stitches.  Employee referred for additional consultation.
