## Narrative

The IE was preparing to move the CM. When he bent over to move the cable, he felt pain in lower back.  He continued to work, and on 10/14 sought medical trtmt.  He was prescribed physical therapy & attended his 1st appt on 10/15 making this injury reportable.  The orthopaedic physician has diagnosed the employee with degenerative disc disease making this an occupational illness.
