Narrative

Employee was inspecting a ""SK"" type valve on storage silos and requested another mechanic to assist in changing the valves position. Controls for the motor where on the opposite side of the pipes from the inspection location. Device was jogged 3 times and fingers were pinched in the valve. Assistant disconnected the mechanical arm to release, EMS was called and 1st aid was applied.
