Narrative

Employee was using a hand-held 9"" grinder to reduce thickness of a metal plate. During the activity, the grinder ""kicked"" back, w/ the rotating wheel striking the employee on top of the left knee. Employee suffered a laceration/cut approximately 3"" long and approximately 0.25"" deep. Employee was taken to Urgent Care facility where wound was treated and closed w/ seven stitches.
