While hanging high voltage cable in future track entry of 23D (on the 9 South Mains section) the cable came out of the cable hanger and fell on the injured employee's left shoulder causing a contusion and a possible sprain. No issues with training, equipment, PPE or company rules. Two other employees were assisting with hanging cable.
