Employee was re-railing a track mounted supply car when a piece of wood became dislodged striking the employee in the safety glasses resulting in a small laceration above the right eye and abrasion on the bridge of the nose. PPE was not a factor/mining equipment/mining systems was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was not a factor, miner proficiency may be a factor.
