Narrative

Hanging miner cable and water line, with assistance, in 22D from 1 Right to 2 Right. Left thumb was twisted and bent backwards as employee was raising cable to place in cable hanger. Cable was approximately face level when injury occurred. No problems with mining equipment, training, PPE or compliance issues. Diagnosed with sprain/strain of left thumb.
