## Narrative

The employee was using a grinder to perform work when the grinder ""jumped"" and caught his left index finger, pulling it between the guard and cutoff wheel. He was evaluated by a physician and four sutures were used to close the wound. He was released back to work with restrictions to keep the wound clean and dry.
