Narrative

Employee was rib pinning on the left side of the miner when a rock fell from the mine roof pinching his right middle finger between the rock and the pinner. He suffered a fracture and 2 sutures from the injury. No equipment involved. It didn't involve job skills, proficiency, training, or attitude. No PPE or protective devices on equipment were involved.
