## Narrative

The injured employee (IE) was using an approximate 2"" round by 6' long pipe to slowly rotate each bypass fan blade for cleaning via air lance (vibration issue). While applying downward pressure on the bar the end contacting the fan blade slipped and the end the IE was holding struck the upper rib resulting in a chest wall contusion/bruise and 10 pound lifting restriction.
