## Narrative

The employee was walking up a covered staircase, that leads to the hourly parking lot. The employee's foot slipped off the front of a step which caused him to stumble onto that foot awkwardly. The incident resulted in a fracture to a metatarsal bone in the employee's foot. No defects were found during an inspection of the stairwell.
