Employee was removing a metal band from a lift of bacon straps, when the strap was cut it sprung back lacerating the employee's right forearm. PPE was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was not a factor, mining equipment was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, miner proficiency may have been a factor.
