## Narrative

During a Part 50 audit, it was determined this injury to be reportable. Employee was standing beside someone welding and received a welding flash to his eyes. Cause of this injury was looking at the welding process. Compliance with rules/regs, mining equip/systems not a factor.  PPE and miner proficiency may be a factor.
