Narrative

During part 50 audit, this injury was determined reportable due to PT therapy. Employee strained his back while pulling belt at the tailpiece of the longwall. Cause of this injury was having body twisted while pulling. Compliance with rules/regs, mining equip/systems not a factor, PPE (Back support) and miner proficiency may be a factor.
