## Narrative

During part 50 audit this injury was determined reportable due to 2nd degree burn. Employee got burned when he went to removed flow switch on a booster water pump, approx. 2 cups of hot water contacted his skin. Cause of this injury was trapped energy (hot water). Compliance with rules/regs, mining equip/systems not a factor. PPE and miner proficiency may be a factor.
