## Narrative

During routine cleaning of the preheater tower riser duct, employee discharged a high pressure CO2 system. An inspection door opened from the discharge ejecting hot dust. The hot dust landed on the back of the employees neck causing second degree burns. Employee was treated at a local clinic and returned to work the same day with restriction to keep wound clean and dry.
