## Narrative

The ee stated that while carrying roof bolting material, he stepped on uneven bottom and twisted his left ankle.  The ee has previously experienced a non-work related severe ankle fracture which required the insertion of a metal plate, pins and screws to re-stabilize the ankle. The ee failed to take the necessary precautions as to his foot placement while working.
