Slope car was taken out of service during inspection. The speed switches would not operate. There was a cable pulled out of the switch. The car was removed from service, the switch was repaired and the car was put back in service. This incident started at 3:40 PM and ended at 5:30 PM. There was no one trapped or injured during this incident.
