The employee was walking back to the roof bolter when he fell to the mine floor. We have classified this condition as an occupational illness rather than an occupational injury because the preliminary indications are that it resulted from repetitive trauma to an area that was previously subject to a severe trauma at another mine operated by another mine operator.
