## Narrative

Employee bent over to lift a battery cell and strained his back. Cause of injury improper lifting and not getting help. PPE was not a factor, mining equipment/systems was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was a factor, miner proficiency may have been a factor. This incident became reportable as of 02/11/2015 due to employee receiving physical therapy.
