IGNITION - Occurred on mine floor while cutting bottom in the No. 1 entry on the No. 6 section when a frictional ignition occurred on the left side of the entry in the mine floor. The flame was orange in color and lasted 5 to 7 seconds. The miner crew backed miner up while leaving the water sprays on the continuous miner.
