## Narrative

The employee stated that while hanging longwall jumper cables, he stepped backwards, stumbled and tripped over broken pieces of blocks that he has previously moved out of his walkway.  He stumbled & twisted his left ankle.  The accident was caused by the employee's failure to move the materials completely out of his walkway.  He had on his appropriate PPE.
