## Narrative

The employee was in the process of making a makeshift tool by cutting a wooden wedge, when he self inflicted a laceration of the left tight with a razor knife.  The accident occurred because the employee failed to realize the potential of his actions by placing the wedge on his leg.  He failed to follow the rules, regulations, policies of the company and basic common sense.
