## Narrative

Individual was using a 10 ton Simplex Jack to align a track switch. Due to poor body position when pressure was applied to the jack, it kicked out striking the individual in the right outer knee. This did not involve any compliance issues, no equipment involved. This did not involve job skills or attitude. Personal safety equipment was be used.  Sprain of the LCL.
