## Narrative

Employee was shoveling snow to clear out new purlins waiting to be installed. Employee's shovel slipped causing his hand to strike the purlin, which cut through the employee's glove causing a laceration to his thumb. Employee was brought to medic and received 3 sutures and given a release back to full duty.
