Employee was working from scaffolding with two other employees. While working, a pneumatic 2' cell sample port valve broke free. The valve swung down connected by an air hose and made contact with employee on the hard hat and left shoulder. The job was stopped and the employees exited the work area. Employee was evaluated by on-site medical staff.
