While walking to check a gob wall between #1 and #2 at 40+20 23 West the employee stepped on a small rock covered in rock dust. This caused his foot to slide and weight to shift and twisted his right knee. He experienced pain near the proximal end of the tibia, on the lateral side, radiating distally to the foot. No problems with PPE, training, mining methods or compliance issues.
