## Narrative

A fully trained roof bolter had drilled a 6 foot hole and had lowered the first steel and proceeded to add 3 foot pusher and went to pickup the steel and a piece of slate fell on top of the employees left hand while on the tray resulting in a laceration and swelling. The employee finished his shift and afterwards drove himself to get medical treatment.
