Narrative

EE was using a dead blow hammer to tap on a Nelson drive cover. While aligning the cover and tapping with the hammer, the right hand holding the hammer contacted a raised edge on the drive cover resulting in a laceration to the right pointer finger. The ee was evaluated by a Physician and 7 sutures closed the wound; the ee returned to work.
